Cross the arms in front of your body and link your fingers with the affected arm on top. Raise your arms over the head. With the affected arm produce a little bit of resistance when pushing back and over your head. (The affected arm will push forward and the other arm will resist any movement. Aim is to get the muscles firing and when you relax the arm will go further back.)
Straighten the elbow and bring the arms in line or slightly behind the ears. Hold in position for 6 seconds. Relax and slowly lower your arms. Repeat two to three times.

- Step 1 — Cross the arms and raise them over the head. Straighten the elbows and bring the arms in line with the ears.
- Step 2 — Hold for 6 seconds.
- Step 3 — Slowly lower the arms.
- Repeat 2-3 times.
