Arm Raises

 

Stand in the corner of the room and raise your arm as high as you can, then slowly “walk” up the wall sideways with you fingers. Hold the arm firmly against the wall and your palm flat as far as possible for 6 seconds. Use your unaffected arm to assist yourself slowly bringing the arm back down. Repeat two to three times.

 

Patients are reminded to consult with our specialists for advice before performing this frozen shoulder exercise. Some pain and discomfort during the stretching exercises is expected.

  • Step 1 — Raise your arm as high as you can, then slowly “walk” up the wall sideways with your fingers.
  • Step 2 — Hold for 6 seconds.
  • Step 3 — Slowly lower the arms.
  • Repeat 2-3 times.
