Frozen Shoulder Exercise 6

Over-Head Raises

 

Link your fingers in front of the body and raise your arms over the head. Straighten the elbow and bring the arms in line or slightly behind the ears. Hold in position for 6 seconds.

Relax and slowly lower your arms. Repeat two to three times.

 

Patients are reminded to consult with our specialists for advice before performing this frozen shoulder exercise. Some pain and discomfort during the stretching exercises is expected.

  • Step 1 – Link your fingers and raise your arms over the head. Straighten the elbows and bring the arms in line with the ears.
  • Step 2 – Hold for 6 seconds.
  • Step 3 – Slowly lower the arms.
  • Repeat 2-3 times.
